Greeting cards are so nice to receive. Whatever the occasion may be, we like to know we have
been thought of. It just gives us a special feeling. And when we receive a very special greeting
card, one we know the sender has made an extra effort to choose, we feel even more special.
Why not get started and paint some greeting cards for the special people in your life?
I’m sure the receivers will be extremely pleased, and you will certainly have a great
feeling of satisfaction.
Like anyone else I love sending and
receiving greetings cards. I've come up with something that I enjoy, and I find others enjoy too.
A collection of these greetings cards make a wonderful gift!
I like to take photos of some of my projects, and especially photos of
landscapes and seascapes, and turn them into greetings cards that I can then
send out to share with others.
When developing a theme for my
next set of greetings cards, I
tend to use one picture/photograph and change certain things around to create a
totally different scene.
Here are a few samples of one photograph turned into many variations on the
original. Sometimes it's a good idea to use a number of photographs to create
one unique scene, better known as artistic licence.
If you are confident about your drawing, painting or craft skills, then it is always better to create
greetings cards that are a unique piece of art in itself. All you need to do is start with your empty canvas and create a painting that you think will be appropriate for a
your greetings cards and more so the recipients.
Even if you are good at crafts like origami or any other similar arts, then you can create greetings cards by integrating those skills. If you create an innovative
greetings card on your own you are not just presenting a birthday
greetings card but a memento, which can be cherished for a very long time.
Have a go! you have nothing to lose,
you could always buy one of mine....
