Can you remember the last time an
unexpected envelope was delivered to your door? That heart-warming feeling you get when
someone has thought of you in a loving way and expressed this by sending you a beautiful
hand painted Christmas greeting card with an uplifting message. There's nothing quite like it, is there?
Have you ever thought for a moment to reflect on the effect it has on someone when you send them a specially chosen
handcrafted Christmas card? The very act of sending a personalized Christmas
greetings card to someone you care for can touch their lives in a very meaningful way.
There are times when it's more appropriate to create a fitting message in your own words, and it's at times like
that, you might well want to select a card from a source that allows for this.
Well look no further.
All you have to do is choose an image that you instinctively feel will uplift your friend
then email me your message and I will print it on the inside of the card at no
additional cost. You can the rest assured that when that Hand painted card is
received you will have made someone's day and helped to make them feel just that little bit special. Maybe even brought a smile to their face or a tear of gratitude.
I don't know about you, but I derive
such great pleasure from uplifting someone's spirits with a beautiful hand
painted Christmas greeting card.
Christmas is definitely one of the most joyous occasions of the year
for me, where Christmas card giving is traditional. Though Christmas cards are available on almost all local
market stalls at very reasonable cost, making and painting your own Christmas cards never fails to
wow the recipient. There are quite a number of ways to make Christmas cards. It could be the use of a photo,
a cut out from a magazine, pencil, crayons, pastel, acrylic or any other medium, but my preferred option is
to paint them using watercolour.
The next thing to consider is choosing
a fitting theme for the front and the right font for inside. This should be dependent on the recipient's nature and preference. For instance, if you are giving a Christmas card to a
eight year old niece or a nephew, a funny snowman scene would be appropriate, or if the recipient is a business partner or a co-employee, an elegant, formal and simple graphic
like the examples below would be proper. Putting an ill-fitting picture on your card may possibly draw out a negative response from the recipient.
The final and most important step in
the overall design is putting the right words on your Christmas card. When you put the message on your card, make sure to convey the message that comes from your heart. It doesn't have to be poetic or elaborate. A simple line like "Have
a very Merry Christmas" is enough in my view but yours may be totally different.
Anyway have fun painting your own......Have a very Merry Christmas!!!!!
